About Me

As a qualified teacher I have spent fifteen years in schools as a classroom teacher and later as a Senior Manager. My love for teaching, in particular Literacy, led me on a journey to explore  how we learn, and what impacts our ability to learn. Completing further studies enabled me to become a Specialist Teacher in the area of Literacy and Dyslexia. I currently work privately, as well as doing Local Authority work as a Specialist teacher and Consultant.

What does all of the above actually mean? Well, it means that I have a wealth of experience; not just as a teacher in the classroom, or as an Assessor, or at Local Authority Level, but on all of these levels combined. The perfect combination to support your child or school's literacy needs.
